What is the difference between compostable and biodegradable packaging?
Compostable packaging is made to break down into compost in composting conditions within a set time. Biodegradable only means it breaks down eventually, with no set time or conditions. Check with your local council what its bins accept.
What is bagasse?
Bagasse is the sugarcane fibre left after the juice is pressed out. It is moulded into the clamshells, boxes, sauce cups and lids in our sugarcane packaging range.
Is this packaging allowed under WA's plastic ban?
